← DashboardStation map background
The grayscale map is centered on the Tempest station. Weather values and forecast data are unaffected.
Forecast cards remain solid for readability. This uses the same map and background shade as the top cell.
Let the shared background show through weather observation and SmartThings device cards. Their headers, borders, and readings stay legible.
Color scheme
The silver readings, ivory values, and weather status colors stay consistent across schemes.
Weather source for GoldenEagle
The Location selector switches SmartThings and weather together. Weather station assignments are shared across all displays. 24Raven uses Tempest Cloud; the local ESP32 logger belongs to GoldenEagle.
Continue using the existing local logger and database.
Current conditions and daily forecast come from your station account. U.S. AQI comes from Open-Meteo’s modeled air quality feed; moon data comes from Sunrise-Sunset.org. Each is labeled on the dashboard.
Before selecting Tempest REST, create the private server config described in TMPSTWx_V8_Source_Setup.md. Store the token on your NAS outside the web folder. Never paste it into this page or a chat.
Run source diagnostics to check file location, PHP access, station connection, weather, AQI, and moon data without displaying your token.
Dashboard layout
Choose which observation cards appear and move them up or down. The temperature and AQI remain at the top.
SmartThings
Status checks run while SmartThings is visible. Scenes retain their own brightness.
Appearance, content, and source choice are saved in this browser. The Tempest token stays in private server configuration.
